About Us

Stefan had a 20-year career in professional services and the corporate world across Europe and Asia Pacific. Before co-founding Stepping Stone, his last role was as CFO for Asia Pacific for a global leader in the information industry. He acts as an independent director for companies across several countries and was previously President of the New Zealand Chamber of Commerce in Singapore. Originally from New Zealand, Stefan spends his time between the Singapore and Dublin offices, including working with companies from Europe taking their first steps into the growing ASEAN markets.

Ivan leads our Singapore office and brings over 20 years of experience across Europe, the Middle East and Asia. He qualified as a Chartered Accountant with PWC in London and has since lived and worked in Tokyo, Hong Kong, Dubai and Singapore, including in senior roles with the World Bank and HSBC and with regional investors and financial institutions. With extensive investment experience across a range of sectors, countries and deal sizes, Ivan also heads up Stepping Stone’s Investment business.

Zenaida brings over 20+ years’ experience in professional services and corporate accounting across the UK, Middle East, Asia and Australia. Zenaida has extensive experience and exposure across numerous industries including FMCG, Not-for-profit and professional services . As part of providing CFO Services, her areas of expertise are digital transformation programs and providing insightful financial information. She served on the Board of the Australia and New Zealand Association in Singapore and has previously been their Treasurer.

June has more than 25 years of progressive experience in both MNCs and SMEs across a range of industries.  She is skilled in leadership, business partnering, mentorship as well as stakeholder and team management.  She has collaborated with leaders and cross functional teams across geographies and successfully delivered results for the company. She is a Fellow member of Association of Chartered Certified Accountants and member of Institute of Singapore Chartered Accountants.  She also volunteers as Audit Committee member of Singapore National Paralympic Council.

Heading up Hong Kong, he worked across various industries in Europe and Asia. After ten years with a big four firm he focused on working with funds, start ups and distressed businesses. He has structured a wide variety of deals to serve clients’ needs. As part of providing CFO services he provides deep commercial and strategic insight and mentoring. He serves on the boards of companies, Funds and SPVs as well as a non-profit.

Rob has over 10 years of experience in finance, accounting and taxation for various clients across different industries, including tech, F&B, insurance, education, health and wellness. He joined Stepping Stone in 2014, leading end-to-end financial accounting and reporting for diverse SME clients. He is an expert in Xero, overseeing accounting data migrations and leads product training across the Company. Additionally, he is an active member of the Philippine Institute of Certified Public Accountants. Rob graduated from the Polytechnic University of the Philippines with a Bachelor’s degree in BS Accountancy and is currently pursuing an MBA.

Kalaai, as part of our Accounting Services team, provides financial solutions and support to our clients, working closely with them to understand their financial situation and providing individualized advice on compliance, tax planning and accounting issues. Kalaai, who joined Stepping Stone in 2016, also leads training and updates across the team on payroll related software and compliance matters. Kalaai graduated from Ngee Ann Polytechnic with a Diploma in Accountancy and is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Arts (Hons) in Accounting and Finance at the London School of Business and Finance, Singapore.

Madhusudan is a seasoned financial consultant and accountant with over 7+ years of experience in various sectors, like financial technology, cybersecurity, banking, F&B amongst others. He has a proven ability to lead and manage financial accounting and reporting functions, as well as provide strategic financial advice to the SME clients. He joined Stepping Stone in 2019 and has gained expertise in the accounting platform Xero. He has a strong academic background with double masters in MBA Finance and MSc Financial Risk Management from Trinity College Dublin. He is currently pursuing Certified Management Accountant (CMA) US.
