Bamboo is a tech start up founded in Dublin, Ireland, which lets users pre-order from their favourite cafés and restaurants, enabling them to skip the queue with a seamless cashless experience that also automates loyalty rewards.

We have been working with the founders, Luke and Alan, since 2015 when they started with the concept. We were the first investor that enabled them to build their minimal viable product, which then soon led to a EUR 50,000 investment from Enterprise Ireland’s Competitive Start Fund. Bamboo has quickly grown to be a team of 10 in over 100 cafes and restaurants in Dublin and Cork. We supported them through a successful EUR 500,000 seed capital raise, which included a EUR 225,000 follow on investment from Enterprise Ireland’s High Potential Start Up programme, as well as a follow on investment from ourselves and other angel investors.

Starting a new company brings many challenges, and to enable the Luke, Alan and the team to focus on rapid growth we provide full accounting, compliance and strategic finance support. We are also actively working with the Bamboo team and Enterprise Ireland on new market launches, including Singapore.

Sigrid.AI is an executive assistant business service, staff by humans and augmented by Artificial Intelligence. Leveraging machine learning, Sigrid.AI builds EA-relevant intelligence at an exponential rate that far outstrips the capability of a human assistance alone.

We have been working closely with Ida and Paul, the founders of Sigrid.AI, since 2016 when they launched the business across across Singapore, Denmark and The Philippines. Like ourselves at Stepping Stone, Sirgid.AI supports business owners and entrepreneurs across the globe, with a heavy emphasis on leveraging both technology and specialised teams. We assisted them with the initial structure, set up and banking for their global business and the relationship has grown in that we now provide fully outsourced accounting, payroll and compliance support for them.

We‘ve also supported Sigrid with restructuring of the group, including bring new investors in. We ourselves have in turn become a client of Sigrid.AI for their AI driven services, enabling us to not only benefit from their great personal service, but also the specialist teams and tech that sit behind them.

The team at Asia Market Entry have a deep belief that international software companies of all sizes should be able to expand into Asia to benefit from the enormous opportunities in the region. They specialize in providing outsourced enterprise sales to small and medium software companies who may not be ready or resourced to place their own teams on the ground.

We have helped both the Asia Market Entry team and their clients to set up in the South East Asia region, including with banking and immigration matters. In addition, we continue to provide outsourced accounting, payroll and compliances services, which includes working close with the finance teams of these international clients for their groups reporting needs.
